Refund policy
Full refund within 14 days if the invitation was never published to guests
Last updated: September 4, 2026
Our rule is short: full refund within 14 days if the invitation was never published to guests. Here is what that means, and how to ask.
1. The 14-day rule
- You paid within the last 14 days.
- You have not published the invitation to guests — you have not sent the public link or any per-guest link to anyone beyond your own testing. We check the invitation's view counts and the guests you marked as sent to confirm this.
- Both conditions met? You get 100% back, no questions asked.
2. When we cannot refund
Once the invitation has been shared with guests, or after 14 days, the purchase is final — at that point we have delivered the service and committed to hosting it for good. The free 3-day trial exists precisely so you can test everything before paying.
Two exceptions we will always honour: a duplicate or mistaken charge, and a fault on our side that we cannot fix within a reasonable time.
3. How to request a refund
- Email invites@invite-app.hostingersite.com from the address you used to pay, or use the contact form.
- Include the invitation link and the date you paid. A reason helps us improve but is not required.
- We reply within two business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- After a refund the invitation goes offline. Your content and guest list remain in your dashboard, and you can pay again later if you change your mind.
4. Additional invitations
The $19 price for second and later invitations follows the same 14-day, never-published rule.
5. Trials
Trials are free, so there is nothing to refund. If your trial ended before you were ready, simply pay when you are — your content is still there.
