Two couple photos, a gallery of up to 12, and background music with a mute button. What to upload and what we do with it.
Photos
The form has two couple-photo slots (templates use one or both, for the hero and the feature section) and a gallery of up to 12 photos, each with an optional short caption (60 characters). Accepted files: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 12 MB each. We rotate them the right way up, resize them to a maximum of 1600 pixels and compress them so the invitation loads fast on a phone; the original stays on your device.
- Portrait photos work best in the hero slots; landscape photos are fine in the gallery.
- The first couple photo is also the picture messaging apps show next to your link — choose one that reads well small.
- To replace a photo, upload a new one in the same slot; to remove it, tick the remove box and save.
Video
Templates that support video (Lacquer, Garden) ship with their own short loops for the opening and the hero. There is no video upload yet, so the loop is the template's; a still photo of yours sits in the feature section. Templates without video (Porcelain) use a still photo with a soft parallax instead.
Music
Choose the template's track or No music. Music never starts on its own: it begins when the guest opens the invitation, and a small round button lets them mute it. On phones the browser may wait for a tap before playing sound — that is normal.
