Guests, parties and seats

Parties, not people

You invite parties: a couple, a family of four, a single friend. Each party gets its own link, its own language and tone, and answers RSVP once for everyone in it. Inside a party you may list the people by name (with phone and email if you like), but that is optional — seats are what the invitation, the trial limit and the seating chart use.

Adding a party

Open Guests and fill in the small form:

• Party name — for you only, e.g. "Uncle Ba's family".
• Greeting name — what the invitation says at the top, e.g. "Bác Ba và gia đình" or "Linh and Nam". Leave it blank to reuse the party name.
• Tone — Elder (formal wording, sees every ceremony) or Friend (casual wording, sees the ceremonies marked for everyone).
• Language — English or Vietnamese for this party.
• Seats — 1 to 50 people held for them. This is the most a party can answer "yes" for.
• Ceremonies — the default follows the tone; tick a custom set when a party is special (see Personal links and ceremonies).

Named guests

Expand a party to add names, up to 50 per party. Names are for your own list and the CSV export; the invitation itself only shows the greeting name.

Limits and totals

The page shows seats used. During the free trial the total is capped at 20 seats; after paying there is no limit. Changing a party's seats or deleting a party updates the total at once.

Deleting a party

Delete party removes its link, its named guests, its RSVP answers and its seat at the seating chart. Prefer editing (fewer seats, a new name) when the household is still coming.
